About me
Esther Du, born in Nanjing, China, is a visual storytelling artist based in Providence, where she is working towards her MFA in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. She graduated in 2021 from Maryland Institute College of Art, where she received her BFA in General Fine Arts.
She works with graphic novels, writing, jewelry, and interdisciplinary installations, exploring experimental ways of storytelling. Inspired by literature and existentialism philosophy, she raises questions related to the meaning of life through introspective fictions narratives.
